Ingredients

  • 1 (14 ounces) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (7 ounces) package sweetened flaked coconut
  • 2 cups fresh bread crumbs (about 4 slices bread)
  • 18 maraschino cherries, drained and cut in half

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat rimmed baking sheets with cooking spray.

In large bowl, combine all ingredients except cherries; mix well.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto rimmed baking sheets. Press half of a cherry cut side down into center of each cookie.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until edges are golden. Allow to cool completely before serving.
