  • 4 c. bread or croissants cut into cubes
  • 1/2 c raisins or chocolate chips
  • 3 c. milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Step 1

Grease 9x13 baking dish. Place bread cubes, raisins (or chocolate chips) in the baking dish. Toss to mix. In a bowl beat together milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour mixture over bread cubes, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate a few hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Remove plastic wrap and bake for 40-45 minutes until puffed and golden. Sprinkle with some extra raisins or chocolate chips.

Serve warm with ice cream or whip cream.
