Ingredients
- Filling: 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 1 T. butter
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 lg. bag semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- Dough: 2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 3 c. quick oatmeal
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 unbeaten eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. soda

Step 1
Filling:
Combine the chocolate chips, milk and butter; cook over low heat, stirring constantly until chips are melted. Add vanilla, stir and remove from stove. Add the nuts and set aside to cool slightly.
Dough:
Cream brown sugar and butter, add unbeaten eggs and vanilla; the remaining ingredients. Work the ingredients into a dough and pack 2/3 of it into greased jelly roll pan. Spread with filling and crumble remaining dough over the filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
