Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup vegetable shortening
- 2/3 cup cocoa
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 almond extract
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- Filling
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 Tbls butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 to 2 Tbls milk
- Chocolate Frosting
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2-4 Tbls milk

Cooking time 18mins
Preparation
Step 1
350 F. grease and flour pan. Beat all ingredients on low
speed scraping bowl constantly. Beat on highspeed 2 minutes. fill pan 3/4 full Bake at 350 F for 18-22 minutes. Cool completely.
Fill indention with filling, then ice.
