- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup crisco shorting
- 3 tablespoons cold water

Step 1
in a medium bowl mix flour and salt
cut in shorting using a pastry blender
sprinkle with water one Tablespoon at a time
toss lightly with fork until dough forms ball
press between hands to form a 5 to 6 inch pancake
flour dough board lightly
roll into circle between sheets of waxed paper
trim crust to 1 inch inverted 9 inch pie plate
