Step 1

Pit, measuring 5 cups per plastic bag or container. Cherries may be frozen with or without sugar. The addition of sugar will provide more juice when preparing your pie or dessert. We suggest 1/2 cup sugar to 5 cups cherries, mix and let stand a few minutes to dissolve sugar, then pack in container.
