Ingredients
- 2 cans (16 ounces) chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

Preparation
Step 1
In a food processor, puree the chickpeas, garlic, salt, lemon juice, tahini, water, and oil until smooth. Taste and add more salt or lemon juice if desired. If the hummus is too thick, add waater, 1 tablespoon at a time, until it reaches the desired consistency.
