Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup grated Parimigiano-Reggiano
  • 1 tsp very finely minced garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 2 tbp finely chopped italian
  • 2 tbs olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Place all ingredients except olive oil in a large bowl and combine thoroughly. Rinse hands with cool water, then lightly shape the mixture into balls the size of a small grape. Heat oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs in single-layer batches and brown well on all sides. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
