Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 lbs chicken parts - no skin
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 can (28 oz) kitchen ready tomatoes
  • 1 lb mushrooms cut in half
  • 2 medium onions chopped
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup corn starch

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oil in frypan. Brown chicken
2. Stir garlic, Italian seasoning, tomatoes, onion, mushrooms, pepper plus 1 cup chicken broth in crockpot
3. Add chicken; turn to coat
4. Cook on low 8 hours; remove chicken and keep warm
5. Stir cornstarch and remaining broth in small bowl until smooth
6. Stir into cooker; cover and cook on high 10 minutes
7. Serve with chicken and macaroni
