Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 t. salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 2 T. corn starch
  • 1 T. Soy Sauce
  • 1 t. sugar
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 can bean sprouts
  • 1 1/2 c. cubed ham or chicken
  • 2 T. salad oil

Preparation

Step 1

Cook meat and onion in salad oil.

Add water and celery. Boil 5 minutes.

Add cornstarch, Soy Sauce, sugar, salt and pepper. Simmer 5 minutes.

Add bean sprouts and heat.

Serve over Chow Mein Noodles.

Note:
"La Choy" noodles and bean sprouts work best.
