Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. packed brown sugar, divided
- 1 c. flour
- 6 T. baking cocoa, divided
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 T. butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 3/4 c. boiling water
- Vanilla ice cream

Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl, combine 1 c. brown sugar, flour, 3 T. cocoa, baking powder. In another bowl, combine the milk, butter and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients just until combined. Spread evenly into 3 qt. slow cooker coated with nonstick cooking spray. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
In a bowl, combine the remaining brown sugar and cocoa; stir in boiling water. Pour over batter (do not stir). Cover and cook on high for 4-4 1/2 hrs. or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Serve warm with ice cream.
