Ingredients
- Unsalted Saltines
- 1-3/4 sticks butter
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- Sliced almonds

Step 1
Line 11 x 15 inch jelly roll pan with aluminum foil. Place unsalted saltines flat on pan, covering totally.
In a heavy pot, melt butter and sugar until bubbly.
Pour over saltines spread evenly. Bake in 400 degree oven 5-6 minutes (do not overcook or they will scorch.)
Remove from oven, quickly spread chocolate morsels over saltines. Chocolate will melt in about 15-30 seconds. Spread evenly over crackers.
Sprinkle immediately with thin sliced almonds.
Refrigerate for 1 hour and the break apart and enjoy.
