Vickie's Pretzel-Toffee Bark

Ingredients
- 8-oz. pkg. mini pretzels, coarsely broken or whole
- 1 c. butter, sliced
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 (12-oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Optional: sea salt

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Line a 15"x10" jelly-roll pan with aluminum foil. Spread pretzels over pan in an even layer; set aside.
Combine butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring occasionally. Once mixture reaches a rolling boil, let boil without stirring for 3 minutes. Immediately pour hot mixture over pretzels; bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven; immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Let stand for about 5 minutes; use a spatula to evenly spread out chocolate. If desired, sprinkle with salt. Let stand until firm, refrigerating if desired. Peel off foil; cut or break into squares.
Makes about 2 pounds.
