Ingredients

  • 8 oz. fresh fish
  • 1 small lime or 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/2 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup water or enough to cover fish
  • pinch of thyme
  • 1/4 stick of celery
  • 1 small onion (sliced)
  • Add hot pepper to taste if desired

Step 1

Place fish in sauce pan with enough water to cover fish. Add all other ingredients, cover and let simmer for 10-12 minutes.
