Sugar Cookies (The Best Soft!!)

1-3/4 C. sugar
1c. butter flavored shortening (2 sticks)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 c. sour cream

Ingredients

• Cream sugar & shortening. Add eggs, vanilla, & salt. Mix dry ingredients & add alternately to sugar mix. with the sour cream. Chill 1 -3 hrs. Roll out. Cut. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 10 mins at 350 degrees or til slightly brown. Yield 4-5 doz.
