In spice grinder, grind flaxseed until very fine. In ver small saucepan, combine with 3 tablespoons water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer until mixture is syrupy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool completely. Store, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
