- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cup flour, sifted
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda

Step 1
Mix shortening and peanut butter. Add both kinds of sugar & beat well. Mix flour, salt and soda. Stir into peanut butter mixture. Make dough into small balls. Put on baking pans. Flatten with fork. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 10-15 minutes.
