  • 1 1/3 cups.   all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon  salt
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 cup  1% low-fat milk
  • 1 large eggs
  • 2 egg whites
  • Cooking spray

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450°.

Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife. Combine flour and salt,and sugar, stirring with a whisk.

Combine milk and egg, and egg whites in a medium bowl, stirring with a whisk until blended; let stand 30 minutes. Gradually add flour mixture, stirring well with a whisk. Stir in butter.

Heat popover pan at 450* for 3 mins. remove from oven, and coat with cooking spray.

Divide batter among 8 cups, filling each half full.
Bake at 450* for 10 mins. reduce heat to 350*, and bake 25 mins or until golden. Remove from pans. Serve immediately.
