Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 c butter, softened
- 1/2 c 10X sugar
- 1/2 c plus 2 T sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 c vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla

Step 1
Beat butter, 10X sugar and ½ c granulated sugar about 2 minutes or until creamy. Beat in egg, then oil and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture: flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt. Shape in balls and cover in granulated sugar. Press glass on cookies to make flat. Bake 350, 10-11 minutes.
