Ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, crushd
- 3 1/2 cups (32 ounce jar) meatless spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. lasagna
- 2 cups (1 lb.) cottage cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Cook ground beef, onion and garlic in 3 qt. saucepan over medium heat for 10 minutes. Add sauce, water and salt; blend well. Simmer gently for 15 minutes for 15 minutes. Cook lasagna according to package directions, drain well. Combine cottage cheese and eggs.
Spread about 3/4 cup meat sauce on bottom of a greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch roasting pan. Arrange a layer of lasagna over sauce. Top with layers of cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese and meat sauce. Repeat layers twice ending with layer of lasagna. Spread meat sauce over top and sprinkly with Parmesan cheese. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes.
