Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup glazed mixed fruit
- 1/2 cup butter/margarine
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Measure first seven dry ingredients into large bowl. Mix together. Make a well in the center.
Cream butter, sugar and egg together well in smaller bowl. Mix in buttermilk and vanilla. Pour into well. Stir just enough to moisten. Batter will be lumpy. Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake in 400 oven for 20-25 minutes. Wait 5 minutes for easier removal of muffins.
VANILLA GLAZE:
Mix enough water or milk with 3/4 cup icing sugar to make a runny glaze. Drizzle over muffins.
