Ingredients

  • 2 pkg french bread dough
  • 3 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1/2 tsp oregano, basil
  • Shredded lettuce
  • 8 oz thinly sliced deli meats (hard salami, bologna, ham etc)
  • 4 oz. thinly sliced cheese (Muenster, Swiss or American)
  • 6 Tbsp Italian dressing
  • Onion, Green Pepper, tomato

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place dough seam side down. Make 1 large ring. Cut 6-8 diagonal slashes (1/2 in deep). Brush lightly with vegetable oil). Spread garlic over dough. Spread evenly. Sprinkle with herbs. Bake 26-30 min. or until golden brown. Cool completely off of stone.

Cut bread in half horizontally. Arrange meat and cheese evenly. Top with lettuce. Drizzle with 2 Tbsp dressing. Top with onion, pepper and tomato. Drizzle with remaining derssing. Cut into wedges. Serve.
