  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 1/2 raw rice
  • 1 cup fine noodles
  • 3 cups beef or chicken consomme or 3 bouillon cubes plus 3 cups water
  • 1/4 cup blanched almonds, sauteed in butter



Step 1

Melt butter. Saute noodles and rice until browned. Add soup and stir.

Cook covered about 40 mintes. Add almonds at end on top.

Note: I used 1 pkg. onion soup and 4 cups of water.
as an alternate recipe.
