- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 1/2 raw rice
- 1 cup fine noodles
- 3 cups beef or chicken consomme or 3 bouillon cubes plus 3 cups water
- 1/4 cup blanched almonds, sauteed in butter
Melt butter. Saute noodles and rice until browned. Add soup and stir.
Cook covered about 40 mintes. Add almonds at end on top.
Note: I used 1 pkg. onion soup and 4 cups of water.
