Ingredients

  • 1/4

    lb. butter

  • 1 1/2

    raw rice

  • 1

    cup fine noodles

  • 3

    cups beef or chicken consomme or 3 bouillon cubes plus 3 cups water

  • 1/4

    cup blanched almonds, sauteed in butter

Directions

Melt butter. Saute noodles and rice until browned. Add soup and stir. Cook covered about 40 mintes. Add almonds at end on top. Note: I used 1 pkg. onion soup and 4 cups of water. as an alternate recipe.
