Ingredients

  • 3.1 /4 C Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 C Butter, softened
  • 1/2 C Shortening
  • 3/4 C Brown Sugar
  • Firmly Packed
  • 3/4 C Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 C Broken Pecans
  • 6 English Toffee
  • Candy bars, crushed
  • (or 1/2 bag crushed toffee)

Preparation

Step 1

Bake 375º Ungreased cookie sheet.

In a medium bowl, combine flour,
baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In large mixer bowl cream butter,
shortening and both sugars. Add
eggs and vanilla; mix well.
Gradually add flour mixture to
creamed mixture.
Mix in nuts and candy. Dough will
be stiff. Drop by teaspoonfuls
onto cookie sheets. Bake 10-12
minutes. Makes about 6 dozen.
