Ingredients
- Crust::
- Cubed ham (1/2 ham shank)
- 8 hard boiled eggs
- 3 basket cheese cubed
- Black pepper
- 2 cups grated cheese
- One dozen eggs beaten well.
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- Pepper
- 3/4 cup Crisco
- 3 eggs put into a measuring cup
- Add enough water to eggs to make 3/4 cup
- 1 tsp baking powder

Step 1
Grandma Ann used to make two tall ham pies. She used Wilton round cake pans,
3 inches tall and I think 9 inches wide.
Mix all top meat/egg ingredients together and set aside.
Prepare crust:
Mix flour, salt, pepper and baking powder in a bowl. Add in the egg/water and mix together. Add the Crisco and cut together with two knives until mixed well. Cut dough into two balls and keep in plastic in the fridge for 15 minutes. Roll out dough and fit in pan. Pour ham pie mix in.
Bake in 350 oven about 60 or 70 minutes. I thought it looked too wet and cooked it for 90 minutes and it was a little dry.
