This is a holiday favorite! Slow Cooker Pecan Pie Cobbler will take the place of all the time it takes to make a Pecan Pie in the oven. It’s EASY and delicious!
Place an uncooked pie crust in the slow cooker and press up the sides about 1/2 inch. (I use a boxed mix
Combine the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl until well blended.
Transfer to the slow cooker, pouring over the piecrust.
Check for doneness at 2 hours as one of my slow cookers only took 2 hours to make this while the other one took 3. Since all slow cookers crock differently, keep an eye on yours.
I have a 6 quart crock pot and was wondering if you could make this recipe in a 6 quart crock pot? If so, would I have to change anything with the recipe or change the cooking time? If you could you let me know I would greatly appreciate it!
What kind of boxed mix do you use and does this do better than Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust would in this particular recipe? Would like to make for my son.
Pam you can do it either way. If you use a slow cooker liner, you can lift it out and place in your pie plate, sliding it with your pie spatula. But I have also dipped it out with a spoon. Enjoy and Happy Crocking!
