Baked Penne and Smoked Sausage

Ingredients
- 1-16 oz package smoked sausage
- 1- 103/4 oz can cream of celery soup
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 4 cups cooked penne pasta; (2 1/2 cups (8 oz) uncooked)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar french fried onions
- 1 cup frozen peas or mixed veggies
- 1-4 oz can mushrooms

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375. Cut sausage into 1/4 inch slices and brown in skillet; drain.
Combine soup and milk in 3-qt casserole. Stir in pasta, sausage, 1/2 cup cheese, 1/2 cup fried onions, mushrooms and peas.
Bake 30 minutes; until hot; stir. Top with remaining cheese and onions. Bake 3 minutes until golden.
