Ingredients

  • 2 (12 oz)packages of bulk pork sausage
  • 1 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cups frozen hash browns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar
  • 1 cup original bisquick
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 eggs

Step 1

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Cook sausage, bell pepper and onion over medium heat, stirring occasionally, drain.
Combine sausage mixture, potatoes, and 1 1/2 cups of the cheese, put in a 13 x 9 inch greased baking dish.
Stir bisquick, milk, pepper and eggs. Pour into baking dish.
Bake uncovered 40-45 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 1-2 minutes more, until cheese is melted. Serves 12.
