Ingredients
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup plus 1 T sugar
- 2 t water
- 1 Hershey milk chocolate bar
- 1 stick butter

Preparation
Step 1
1. Spread finely chopped pecans over bottom of an 8 inch pan.
2. melt butter slowly in an 8 inch skillet. add sugar and water to melted butter, stirring constantly, bring to a full boil over high heat.
3. cook and stir till mixture turns light brown about 3 minutes.
4. immediately pour over chopped pecans and spread evenly to sides of pan.
5. break chocolate bar into squares and place over hot toffee. when melted spread evenly.
6. allow to cool at room temp and break into small pieces for serving.
