Ingredients
- 2 c. chocolate wafer crumbs
- 1/3 c. butter (melted)
- 30 caramels
- 1/2 c. caramel ice cream topping
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 2 c. chopped pecans (toasted)
- 3/4 c. semisweet chocolate pieces

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In medium bowl mix together chocolate wafer crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a spring-form pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
Meanwhile, melt caramels in caramel ice cream topping over low heat stirring often. Stir in 1/4 c. of whipping cream. Remove from heat stir in pecans. Spread over crust. Chill for 1 hour.
For the topping, in a small sauce pan melt chocolate pieces over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in remaining 1/4 c. whipping cream. Drizzle or spread over caramel-pecan mixture. Cover and chill 1 hour. If desired, garnish with pecan halves.
