Grandma's Peanut Butter Cookies

Grandma always had these in her cookie jar for me. I loved them then and I still do.

Ingredients

• 1 C butter
• 1 C white sugar
• 1 C brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 3 C sifted flour
• 2 tsp baking soda
• dash of salt
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 C peanut butter

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat hard. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt and add vanilla and peanut butter. Roll into balls and flatten with fork tines. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes until nicely browned.
