Ingredients
- 4 fresh b sail leaves chopped
- 1 T. chopped garlic
- 3/4 tsp. crushed red chill pepper
- 2 T. Olive Oil
- 1/4 c white wine
- 1 c Italian tomato sauce
- 3 c chicken broth
- 1 T. Seasoning Salt
- 1 T butter
- Fresh Parsley
- 48 mussels and clams
Preparation
Step 1
In a large pot: sauté fresh basil, garlic, chilies and onion in oil on high for a few minutes. Add wine and tomato sauce and broth and salt, boil. Drop in mussels and clams and steam for 3-5 minutes watching carefully not to overcook. Add butter and parsley and serve with fresh bread.
