  • Chicken, cooked (save broth)
  • 3 cups broth (used saved from chicken or canned)
  • 1 cube butter
  • dash of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons green peppers
  • 2 tablespoons onion
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • small can mushrooms, if desired

Step 1

Cook rice and vegetables in butter until rice turns yellow. Add almonds, then soup, diced chicken and broth. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
