MEATBALL SANDWICHES (FAIR)

Ingredients

• 2 lb ground beef
• 2 eggs
• 8 slices bread (dampen with warm water & squeeze)
• salt and pepper
• 1 tsp oregano
• 1 tsp parsley
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp baseil
• 1/2 c parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Bake 400, 20-25 minutes
Sauce: 8 oz tomato paste, 1 tsp salt, 8 oz water, 1 tsp garlic powder, 12 oz tomatoes, 1 tsp sugar, 1 T dried onion, 2 T parmesan, pepper. Cook 1 hour and simmer. Add 1 tsp baking soda, stir. Will bubble up. Add meatballs and cook in sauce at least 1 hour.
