Ingredients
- Sauce for topping:
- French bread, cubed (about 1/2 of a 1 lb. loaf)
- 2 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 c. Monterrey jack cheese, shredded
- 2 c. ham, diced
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. dry white wine
- 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp. fresh chives
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/8 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Step 1
Place bread cubes in a 9 1/2 x 13 1/2-inch greased baking dish. Top with Swiss and Monterrey jack cheeses, ham, and green onions. Combine eggs, milk, wine, mustard, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl; beat well. Pour egg mixture over the bread cube mixture in the baking dish. Press lightly to allow liquid to absorb. Sprinkle with fresh chives. Cover with plastic wrap; transfer to refrigerator to chill 4-24 hours. Allow to return to room temperature before baking.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cover baking dish with foil; bake 40-45 minutes until puffed, and knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let rest 10 minutes.
Combine sour cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat until warmed.
Pour over Strata and serve.
