Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 tbsp. water
- 1 tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- finely chopped almonds

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in heavy saucepan. Add sugar stir over med. heat till dissolved. Add water and syrup cook stirring often to soft crack stage (290 degrees about 12 minutes). Watch carefully after 280 degrees.
Remove from heat and quickly stir in 1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts and spread into buttered 10 x 15 pan.
Immediately sprinkle with 1 cup choc. chips and when melted spread evenly.
Sprinkle with finely chopped nuts. Chill break into pieces.
