Ingredients

  • 8 oz. seasoned croutons
  • 8 oz. grated colby-jack cheese
  • 1 1/2 # bacon
  • 1 pkg. sliced fresh mushrooms or 1 large can mushrooms
  • 12 eggs, beaten
  • 4 c. milk
  • 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Step 1

Fry bacon and mushrooms together. Drain well and set on paper towel to remove remaining grease. Combine eggs, milk, mustard and seasonings. Beat until well blended. Evenly spread croutons in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Crumble meat, then cheese evenly over croutons. Pour beaten egg mixture over all. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight, covered. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let set for 5-10 minutes.
