Butter Pecan Turtle Cookies

Ingredients
- Crust:
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- Caramel layer:
- 2/3 c. butter
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. milk choc chips
- 1 c. whole pecan halves (not chopped)

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix crust ingredients until fine and pat into a 9X13 pan. Sprinkle pecans on crust.
Caramel Layer- In 1 quart saucepan combine brown sugar and butter cook over heat till entire mix starts to boil. Boil 1/2 to 1 minute. Pour over pecans and crust. Bake 18-22 minutes or till brown.
Remove and spread with chocolate chips and allow chips to melt- spread.
