Ingredients
- 2 1/2 C flour
- 3/4 C cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 C sugar
- 1 C packed brown sugar
- 1 C margarine, softened
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 60 Rolo candies (may substitute peanut butter cups, mint cups, etc.)

Step 1
Combine flour, cocoa, and baking soda. In separate bowl, beat sugar and butter and add vanilla and eggs. Stir in dry mixture. Chill dough for one hour. Shape about 1 1/2 tsp. dough around a Rolo, making sure candy is completely encased. Place on ungreased baking sheet and chill for 1 hour. Bake 7-8 minutes at 375 F. Cool before serving.
These cookies freeze well.
