Ingredients

  • C flour

  • ¾

    C cocoa

  • 1

    tsp. baking soda

  • 1

    C sugar

  • 1

    C packed brown sugar

  • 1

    C margarine, softened

  • 2

    tsp. vanilla

  • 2

    eggs

  • 60

    Rolo candies (may substitute peanut butter cups, mint cups, etc.)

Directions

Combine flour, cocoa, and baking soda. In separate bowl, beat sugar and butter and add vanilla and eggs. Stir in dry mixture. Chill dough for one hour. Shape about 1 1/2 tsp. dough around a Rolo, making sure candy is completely encased. Place on ungreased baking sheet and chill for 1 hour. Bake 7-8 minutes at 375 F. Cool before serving. These cookies freeze well.
