Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups cooked, mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded or mashed cooked fish
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp parsley flakes
- 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 2 tsp hard margarine

Step 1
Mix first 8 ingredients in order given in bowl. Divide into 4 equals portions. Shape each portion into 3/4 inch thick patty.
Melt margarine in frying pan. Add fish cakes. Brown both sides.
