Basic Sugar Candy Dough

This is the basic dough recipe to make several Holiday cookie recipes.

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
• 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 1/2 flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp cream of tartar

Preparation

Step 1

In a large mixer bowl, mix butter, sugar, egg & vanilla.

Blend remaining ingr on low speed to soft dough, scraping bowl constantly.
