Frosted Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

• Frosting:
• 1 c. margarine
• 1 c. brown sugar
• 1 c. white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 c. flour
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1 tsp. vanilla or almond flavoring
• 1 c. coconut
• 3 c. oatmeal
• 1/4 c. margarine
• 1 tbsp. water
• 2 c. powdered sugar
• 1/2 tsp. almond favoring
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• pinch of salt

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together all ingredients bake 350 degrees 10 to 12 minutes.

For frosting: melt 1/4 cup margarine in 1 tablespoon water. Add 2 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon almond favoring, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and a pinch of salt. Spread on cookies.
