  • 1 c sugar
  • 1/2 c light corn syrup
  • 1 1/2 c heavy cream
  • 2 1/2 T butter

Step 1

Create an ice bath by filling large bowl with ice and water. Place sugar and corn syrup in saucepan. Cook over medium heat until light golden caramel. Remove from heat and place pan in ice bath 10 minutes. In saucepan, bring cream to a boil. Stir butter into caramel. Stir in hot cream. Cool to room temperature.
