  • 1 cup soft butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cup sifted flour
  • 1/2 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • Optional: chocolate chips



Step 1

-Mix butter and sugar until fluffy
-Add remaining ingredients. Mixture will appear dry. make into snowballs
-Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 min. Cover with powdered sugar while still hot. (Put powdered sugar into bag and shake onto cookies)
Additional: melt chocolate chips and dip end of cookie in it.

Tastes great without nuts, can substitute pecans
