White Sheet Cake

Ingredients

• 1 white cake mix
• 1/2 c. marg.
• 1 1/2 c. sugar
• 2 1/2 c. cake flour
• 2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/8 tsp. salt
• 1 c. water
• 5 egg whites
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 tsp. almond extract

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare white cake mix according to package directions. Cream together margarine and sugar, adding to cake mixture.

Sift together cake flour, baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture to cake batter, mixing alternatively with 1 cup water. Beat 5 egg whites with 1 vanilla and almond extract. Fold into cake mixture. Bake 350 degrees 30 min.
