Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce, torn in small pieces
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
  • 5 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 2 c. mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 pkg. Colby or cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 12 strips bacon, cooked crisp & crumbled

Step 1

Place all ingredients in a 9x13-inch dish, in layers, in the order given. Seal with plastic wrap. Do not use foil. Refrigerate 24 hours. Cut into squares or toss to serve.
