- 18 1/4 oz yellow cake mix
- 3 1/2 oz instant vanilla pudding
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c cold water
- 1/2 c oil
- 1 c chopped nuts
- 1/2 c Southern Comfort
- 1/4 c butter 1/8 c water
- 1/2 c sugar 1/4 c Southern Comfort
Melt butter. Stir in water, sugar. Boil 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in Southern Comfort.
Combine cake ingredients. Beat at medium speed 2 minutes. Pour into greased, 10” tube or 12 c Bundt pan. Bake 325 1 hour. Cool. Invert on plate. Prick top, brush ½ of glaze over top and sides. Cool cake. Reheat and brush remaining glaze over cake. Sprinkle with 1 T 10X sugar before serving.
