Ingredients
- 6 lbs round steak
- 2 onions sliced
- 2 ½ cups water.
- 10 oz can tomatoe sauce or tomatoes
- 1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- bisto or flour and water if needed to thicken gravy
- 1 package frozen Puff Pastry

Preparation
Step 1
Remove fat from 6lbs round steak and cut into small pieces.
Put fat from steak into dutch oven and heat until fat melts.
Add: 2 onions sliced and cook, stirring until onions are brown. Add the meat and brown well. (I flour my meat first)
Add to Dutch oven:
2 ½ cups water.
Small can tomatoe sauce or tomatoes (10oz)
1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and Cook for about 1 ½ hours. Add little extra water if needed as it cooks.
Thicken gravy with bisto or flour and water if needed.
Put in Casserole and cover with Puff Pastry.
Bake at 400 until brown.
N.B. Puff Pastry Hard to make from scratch. I use Gainsborough ready to roll frozen dough.
