Ingredients
- 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
- 4 1/2 Cups Flour
- 5 Tablespoons Brandy or Cognac
- 1 Pound Butter

Preparation
Step 1
Sift together sugar and flour. Add Cognac. Cut in butter, mix well until smooth dough.
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly flour hands. Pinch dough off and roll into a 9 inch roll (slightly smaller than a pencil). Take the ends, double over into a rope (like a pretzel) -or- you can make 8 inch ropes and just make a circle, pinch ends together.
Bake 10-12 minutes until lightly brown. Remove, cool and store in covered container. Freezes well.
