Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 2-1/2 2-1/2 C boiling water
  • 2 2 100% C Kellogg's Bran Buds or Nabisco 100% Bran
  • 2 2 2 C sugar
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup Crisco or margarine
  • 4 4 4 eggs beaten
  • 1 1 1 qt buttermilk
  • 5 5 5 C flour
  • 5 5 5 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1 1 tsp salt
  • 4 4 4 C Kellogg's Original All Bran

Preparation

Step 1

in a medium bowl add the Bran Buds, pour the water over the Bran Buds and let sit while starting the mix.
Mix all other ingredients together then add the bran buds water mixture. Mix until well blended.

Spoon into regular muffin pan - 3/4 way full and bake at 375 for 20 min. I use tin foil muffin cups for easier cleanup.

Refrigerate remaining batter.
